Blue-on-Blue - Ring

As seen in the Rings & Things 2010 Spring Supplement
Created by: Mollie Valente

Suggested Materials:
1 each #51-500-10 Adjustable 14mm round finger ring for gluing, sterling silver
1 each Artisan-made fused glass cabochon **

Tools and Supplies:
Epoxy 330 adhesive (#60-230)
ring mandrel (#69-151)

Designer Tips:
* Clean glass and ring with rubbing alcohol and glue with two-part epoxy.

* Place the ring on a level surface while the adhesive cures. Turn a cardboard box over and poke a hole in the box with a pen or other sharp object, and set the ring in the hole.

** NOTE: Mollie Valente creates these cabochons by upcycling her imperfect handmade lampwork glass beads. Read her article "Upcycling Wonky Beads" in the Summer 2009 issue of The Flow magazine (http://www.theflowmagazine.com).
