Bridesmaid Gift - Necklace

As seen in the Rings & Things 2010 Spring Supplement
Created by: Mollie Valente

This design is made with CRYSTALLIZED™ – Swarovski Elements.

1 #26-813-126 11mm hollow side-drilled flower bead, antiqued copper
2 #05-328-04-150 * CRYSTALLIZED™ 4mm bicone crystals, crystal/golden shadow
4 #05-328-06-150 * CRYSTALLIZED™ 6mm bicone crystals, crystal/golden shadow
10 #26-233-7 3.4x1mm heishi-style metal disks, antiqued copper plate
2 #41-252-8 2mm crimp tubes, copper
2 #41-151-90-08-7 Crimp ends with ring, 0.8mm inner diameter, antiqued copper plate
17" #40-099-28-7 0.8mm beading chain, antiqued copper plate
1 #39-293-7 Hook-and-eye clasp, antiqued copper plate (use hook only)

* NOTE: In 2009, Swarovski began replacing their 5301 faceted bicone crystal style with their new 5328 faceted XILION bicone bead. Either style of bicone works well for this design.

Tools and supplies: flat-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers, side cutters, crimping pliers (#65-010)

TIPS:
* Assemble beads on beading chain and center. Crimp a crimp tube on each side of beads using crimping pliers.

* Attach a two crimp end with ring on each end of the chain using flat-nose pliers.

* Attach the hook and save the eye for another project.
