Pin a Posie - Pin

As seen New Item Flyer #M9L
Created by: Sondra Barrington

This design is made with CRYSTALLIZED™ – Swarovski Elements.

Suggested Materials:
1 pkg #55-000-08 Tim Holtz® idea-ology™ foliage, antiqued metals
(use two flowers of your choice)
1 pkg #55-000-06 Tim Holtz idea-ology trinket pin, antiqued metals (use one pin)
1 each #05-000-06-13 CRYSTALLIZED™ 6mm faceted round crystal, fuchsia
1 each #37-422-9 2" standard head pin, gunmetal
1 each #37-167-9 8mm round jump ring, gunmetal
18" #46-402-30 22-gauge Artistic Wire™, gunmetal

Tools and Supplies: bent-nose pliers, flat-nose pliers, round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers, cutters, two-hole metal punch (#69-235), Bead Fix™ adhesive (#60-242), extra fine point Sharpie® permanent marker (#83-101)

Designer Tips:
* Use an extra fine point permanent marker to darken the stamped word on the trinket pin.

* Once the posie is assembled, use a few drops of glue to hold the flower pieces together.

* Tightly wrap the wire around the closed side of the pin. Wrap less tightly as you go, creating a casual, loose wrap. Be sure not to over-wrap the pin. If your wire wrapping is too thick, you may have trouble fitting the jump ring and possibly closing the pin properly.

See our Beaded Head & Eye Pin Technique Sheet for creating nice head-pin loops.
