Crimping Beadalon for watches can be pretty tricky. The close-up photo shows two methods of crimping. The method on the right simply pulls the Beadalon ends through a single crimp bead. While this method is sufficient, it causes an uncomfortable jab in the wrist for the wearer. The method on the left criss-crosses the two Beadalon ends through the crimp, and uses an extra crimp bead for added security. The crossing method allows the sharp cord ends to fit neatly inside the back of the clasp, and additionally points them away from the wrist, rather than into it. The two strands appear to be one smooth, continuous cord - a clean, flawless finish your customers will appreciate!
