Hi Saratoga,

I believe we can special-order matte black bugle beads.  Special order minimums of seed and bugle are generaly one full kilo, which would most likely be less than โ.

There is also a product called "EtchAll" which can be used for producing your own matte glass beads, from any shiny glass bead.

It is product <a href="https://www.rings-things.com/cgi-bin/hazel/hazel.cgi?SEARCH_KEY_SKUID=86-216&action=search" target="_blank">#86-216[/url] and #86-211.

in our online store, and it is also on our catalog's page 221:

I live in Massachusetts and can occasionally find in retail bead stores a 5 or 7 mm matte black bugle which is either glass or ceramic.  I cannot find such a bead in catalogues....any ideas?  I am also looking for ceramic tubes with about a 1 mm hole and about 7 mm long which I have found in only one store in Massachusetts.

An Ode to EtchAll....

I think the very first item I ever ordered from R&T was a bottle of EtchAll, and I think I still have that first bottle!  It never really stops working, it just gets so gloppy you lose beads in it....  I also love that it's so safe and easy to work with.

I make jewelry with an ancient kind of aesthetic, and EtchAll has made a HUGE difference in my life.  I used to spend hours trying to track down matte beads, and now I make my own every week!

grateful hugs and kisses from
