What gauge/hardness sterling headpin should be used for wrapped loops? I used mostly 4, 6, & 8 mm Swarovski beads. Rings & Things does not specify if the hardness of their 24g sterling headpins. Does anyone know if they are hard, half hard, etc? Thanks

Good question- I'm guessing they're half hard. I personally like our ball-end head pins for this kind of thing, but be prepared because 24 gauge is a dainty wire. not that it's bad, but if you are using a bead with a larger hole size it will wobble a bit. I suggest using the largest gauge that will fit the bead.
There really isn't a wrong hardness or gauge here... most head pins are (approx) 22 gauge, some are 24. Swarovski beads have a very consistant hole size so 22 gauge should work fine, but 24 are (imho) kind of prettier. It comes down to personal taste.
-Hope this helps. Let us know if you need anything else.
