Large Hole Beads
«

I'm looking for nice, large hole beads to use on dog leads (leashes). I would be using up to three strands or rawhide or leather lace to make the leads, so the holes (and the beads themselves) have to be large. Probably at least 4mm holes. Any thoughts on what could be used in metal, glass and/or wood? I know that they're out there - other people are making these.

Take a look at our
Large-hole gemstones
. These have a little bit of a smaller hole-size than what you are looking for, but you can also use a
bead reamer
to open the hole up a bit more if you find you need to.
-Hope this helps.
