Crimp showing on first necklace

I'm NEW to beading, have been practicing, but can't get a smooth look at toggle attachment. I still see a little wire at both ends. The crimper bead shows.
Is there a trick to getting the wire snug at the end?

Hi GigGi,
The crimp bead will always show, unless you hide it inside a larger bead, or use a
crimp cover
over it.
Also, a little bit of visible wire is unavoidable, as it goes around the finding's loop. As a matter of fact, you want to leave a little bit of slack so that the wire loop around the finidng isn't too tight. (A little movement here is a good thing.)
Actually though, there is a nice way to hide the wire.
This is a method that was actually designed for traditional bead cord and pearl necklaces. Cover the end of your stringing cable with
Bullion, aka French Wire
. Click through the [details] link in the bullion descriptions, for a detailed how-to.
