I've been making my earring cards using business cards and punching my own holes. They're not horrible - but I never get the holes evenly spaced - even though I print 'dots' on where I'm supposed to poke:  '<img'>

Anyway - I'm thinking of trying some of the hanging earring displays for sale here (as suggested in another post) - but I would need to make my cards so they can hang with a fold rather than a hole.

I would love to see some examples of finished cards if anyone is willing to share.

I looked at the earring cards for sale here- but all of my earrings are long and I prefer the earring holes to be toward the top of the card and not centered. I don't like it when the earring hangs way below the card itself - if that makes sense.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you

Hi Carol -- this type of clipcard might help.  The picture is a little hard to see -- the card itself is clear, and all that white you see, is a big sticker.  Just peel off the top layer, and stick the clipcard to your business card or other nice paper.
I also don't understand why no matter how even a punch hole is ... earring cards never want to hang straight from a centerpunched hole. The clip card really helps with that, since it has a 1" line to hang from.

I do hope others also offer some idea and images of creative earring display solutions ...........

Carol, don't know what you are using to punch your holes, but try using just a yarn needle.  The hole may look tiny but it will work great for putting any type of earring through.

And Polly's suggestion of the clear clip cards is great. I use these for custom designed earring cards (using a business card) and also for wine glass charms, and they are wonderful.

How hard is it to print these earring cards? Is there a type of card stock you use? Also how do you lay them out?

I want to do one with pendants but dont know how I would get them on the cards.

Any ideas?

80-100 lbs card stock would work best. If you use 80lb card stock you should have no problems printing on a home printer.

For hanging pendants, punch two holes on opposite sides of your pendant bail and run wire through to secure them.
