Fold-over clasps

I recently bought 1/2 gross of copper fold-over clasps from R&T. I expected to see a hole or loop to attache each to one end of a bracelet (and expected to use a large jump ring on the other end). The clasps I received don't seem to have any way to attach. I'm embarrased, but need help. Thank you

Don't be embarrassed! Our 39-810 Clasps confused me too (I had to go ask one of our buyers).
Ok, let’s see if I can explain this. One end of your necklace just gets a jump ring. Plain and simple. For the clasp end- you'll want to loop your cord through the "curled" portion of this clasp and use a crimp bead to secure it. The 'curl' is the portion that is at the end of the smooth side of the clasp when it's open. You might want to gently close the curl with pliers (to remove the gap) after you've attached your cord.
Hope this helps!
(Thanks to Rita- our purchaser, for explaining this one to me
