Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to keep the fragrance in sandalwood beads. I've found that wearing them for a couple of weeks diminishes the fragrance greatly. Any suggestions?

Thanks So Much!

Take a little Sandalwood Oil (I would use all natural if you can find it), place a few drops of oil and your beads in a sealable plastic bag, (but keep the beads from touching the oil so there is no discoloration) then let them sit in a warm place to absorb the aroma for a day or two.

That should do it!

As a "certified old hippie" I know I have sandalwood beads that are 20 or 30 years old. The last time I sniffed them they still smelled good. True I haven't worn them in years but they still have a nice smell.

It's possible you have some carved beads that were some other porous wood that was scented with oil as Mary suggests.

No comments about the word being "certifiable" please! !':p'
