I was hoping for some advice on making watches.  I have done beading for a number of years and never attempted a watch.  I have purchased a watch face, and got started but was very unhappy with the result.  This watch face had a jump ring attached but I didn't like the way it took up so much of the space for the beading, so I removed it.  So I ran the beading cord through the hole, but the cord shows too much at the sides of the whole.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!   '<img'>

Hi Dee,

Have you checked out the watch ideas in our Design gallery?

See if any of those stringing methods would work for your style of stringing, and the style of watch head that you have.

Another option -- Use a stringing material that you don't mind showing off: perhaps the more colorful shades of Beadalon or colored Soft Flex.
