Anyone know the best way to crimp or finish the ends of 2mm leather? Would I crimp or fold over crimp? What is the best size to use also. Thank you so much in advance for advice!

Is your leather round or flat? I personally like the fold-over ends for suede, but ultimatly, it comes down to personal choice. Most crimp beads are not large enough to crimp leather- and most fold-over crimp ends are "square" rather than round. If you are using a flat leather- I reccomend the
Fold-over Crimps
.
But if your leather is round, try the
Coil ends
. These work just as well as a fold-over crimp, but are designed for round cord.
As far as size- pick the size that is closest to your cord size- so for 2mm leather you would want a 2 to 2.5mm end finding.
Hope this helps- let us know fi you need anything else!

Thank you very much Mary!
'> I am using the round smooth leather, so I will take a look at R + T 's choices.

I hope some day R&T will carry crimp end clasps. I currently buy them from another source. I use sterling silver ones, which crimp in the middle, with a closed loop on the end. They look really nice on the ends of round leather cord! You can attach various closing treatments, or leave the loop alone on one end with trigger clasps or lobster clasps.
