I'd like to get a banner for my ezup. Does anyone have any ideas as to the size and should I use grommets or exactly what?? I just want to be able to hang it inside the tent and sometimes use it on front of the tables if i'm not using the tent display. Any ideas? What is the best material to use?

Grommets work great (sorry I don't know anything about grommet sizing though).
5 grommets total help you hang banners quite securely:
1 in each corner, and one more in the center top, and you're set for pretty much anything.
Basic boring shower curtain hooks have been my usual method of hanging banners. Depending on what you are attaching them to you can leave them open to hook them over a pole, or close them when hooking them to something smaller, like mesh or loops. You can also hook them together to hang the banner a bit lower (or cut lengths of chain to the perfect length).
To hang a banner from the front of your table:
I can't think of a good way to hang a banner directly from the front of a table (other than pins ... and that tends to damage the banner and/or the table skirting fabric). So you might want to run cord or flat chain across the top of your table, and hook (again shower curtain hooks) to some appropriate portion on the back/underside of your table.
I'm betting someone else will have better ideas on this though.
A side note: Shower curtain hooks, while not glamorous, can be an incredibly useful craft booth supply.
I've been in a booth (in Ballard, WA) where we used them to hook the upright poles of the booth, to a nearby lamppole when horrendous gusts of wind were attempting to treat our booth as if it were a box kite.
I more commonly used them to sort and store backstock of inexpensive necklaces.

We also have a banner that we use when we do shows that we made ourself. Actually, our designer made it, for she is more crafty than I.
We used a large piece of muslin, and used spray paint to make the sign. 9I know, it sounds tacky to use spray paint, but it turned-out very nice.
Our designer doesn't paint letters well, so we used the computer and printed-out each letter in a font that we all agreed on. We cut the letters-out, and applied them to the muslin and just did a few different blues and purples over the whole thing. Waited for it to dry and popped the papper letters off the canvas. *~*POOF*~* A white lettered sign with a very pretty background color mixture. Then we added the sewing needle and beads painted on around the sign.
We then used gromets on the corners, and in the middle, and most of the time, just use bungie-cords to keep it in place on our booth. (I tried to find a picture of our booth with the sign, but it is hiding in my computer somewhere).
When attaching the sign to a table, we just run it across the edge of the table and just either safety-pin it to our table cover, or just used push pins to keep it in place.
If you would like to see a picture of it, feel free to email me and I'll try and send it to you.
Good Luck, and Happy Beading!

Just a couple of little bits. IF you contact graphics and sign places, there are these vinyl [I think] canvas banners you can have made - very good looking and durable but $$. Some of the copy shops do these signs now as well.
Those zip strips for wiring , etc. work well as attachments also. You can get assortments of them, they will tighten to the size you need and stand up to the wind [if that is a concern]

Yeah, I just had a beautiful (and expensive!) new banner made and can attest to the fact that 1) three grommets is not enough for it to hang nicely, and 2) you do want to cable tie it to your support. The metal hooks slide and make the banner fold and gap. So for cable tie use, very small grommet holes are sufficient--just big enough to slide a cable tie through!
