Hello, I am new to jewelry making, and have made a few pieces and would eventually like to start approaching some stores with my jewelry. How many pieces of jewelry in a line would you recommend before going to stores? '<img'>

Will you be offering one-of-a-kind items that they can hand select wheyo go to the store?
Or, will you display a line of styles and take orders for later delivery, so many of this style and so many of that style?

It will not be one-of-a-kind. I will display different styles, and the store can purchase a few of each style. I would have a small inventory, so that if the store wants a few of a certain (example: earrings) I will have it ready for them in a few days. Right now I will be doing earring and necklaces (they are not sets), so how many different styles of earring and neckalces should I have for them to choose from?

I would suggest 3 "best" necklace designs, each in a different color scheme.  Perhaps the 3 styles could be a "light", "chunkier" and "longer" necklace.
And then 2-7 other necklace styles to pick from, perhaps also rounding out other color schemes that work well for you.

This would allow them to pick a few styles and a few named colors / color schemes for you to reproduce.

And at least twice as many earring styles as necklace styles.  Preferably styles that go well with the necklaces, so that a display made of your goods looks nice as a whole.
