I'm looking for "empty" sterling silver rings where I can add my own stones...
Does anyone have a source for these? Thanks SO much!

I believe what you're looking for is called a Cabachon Mounting- also called 'Cinch Mounts'.  These work only with cab shaped stones and should be sized to your stone very carefully to ensure a secure fit.

We do not currently carry these but you can 'wish list' them with us, by filling out our Wish list form and if we see more customer requests we could add them to our stock.

Currently these can be found at Fire Mountain Gems.  You may turn up less expensive suppliers by doing a google search using the terms I listed.

Good luck!  And let us know if you need anything else.

Rio Grande carries rings you can insert your own stones in.  Also channel rings (for inserting your own elements, or soldering or glueing.), and ones with holes for adding bead elements.  Rio Grande
