Hi James,
We have 2 slightly different styles of beaver tail bails, but neither one is pewter.
One of the nice things about beaver tail bails, is that they can be adjusted/bent to fit a variety of thicknesses of items/pendants.  But pewter is cast, and so is not a good material to bend.
I think that is why I have never seen a beaver tail bail in pewter.

The two we have are #41-291 (fold-over, starts out flat) and #41-290 (pre-folded, available in 2 sizes).
Both of our styles are available in basic white plate and yellow plate.

I am looking for a source of Pewter Beaver Tail mounts. I think this is the right name. It has one flat side which you glue to the object. There is a loop at the top to place a chain through. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Actually, pewter is too soft to hold up well as a bail. Motion of the bail swinging or rubbing on a chain would wear through it very quickly.  Pewter color plating on brass or steel would be a better material.
