I am using silver plate findings on jewelry I am making.  Some of the base metal findings I need are offered in  white but not silver plate.  Items I need  are head pins, eye pins and Round, Small, Heavy Jump Rings.  Are these the same color as the items I can purchase at my local craft store?  If so can you tell me where I might find the items in silver plate

White plate is a more common finish, and so it is the most likely plating you'll find in your local craft store ... but you might get lucky, so it's worth looking.  And sometimes when you look, you can't tell the difference.
Often, with small metal findings like jump rings and head pins, you can tell the difference between a whole bag of white plate, and a whole bag of silver plate ... but few people will notice the difference when the pieces are actually used in a piece of jewelry.
You may have already tried mixing them, and determined that for what you're doing, this doesn't work.  In that case, you might want to look into a special order ... but special order minimums for plated items are generally not cost effective unless you need 2-3 lbs of the item ... and that's a whole bunch of jump rings or head pins!!  You can have the items grouped and plated at one time, but then you would need to sort them afterwards ..... (yuck, a pound of jump rings, a pound of head pins, and a pound of eye pins, all mixed together ... not the worst thing in the world, but not much fun, either)

Here is a link to more information about special orders and platings.
