'<img'> I want to make 2 necklaces that are posted in the Design Gallery however, am not sure of amounts of beads to purchase, designs, etc.  I am relatively new to beading so any help that can be given to me would be greatly appreciated.  The two necklaces I refer to are the "Faux Turquoise & Coral Necklace" and the "Multi Strand Turquoise & Coral Necklace".  Both are pictured on the last page of the Design Gallery.  Please help.....

Hi stweber!  Happy to see a new beader checking out our gallery.  Starting out with a visual "pattern" such as the ones our design gallery provides, is a perfect way to learn more advanced techniques.  Although it's harder to provide verbal instruction with no visual how-to illustrations, we will do our best to answer any questions you may have concerning the how to's.  To answer your initial questions however;

The "Faux Turquoise & Coral Necklace", uses 94 small "chips" and 24 large ones.  These are sold by the 100 so one order of each should be sufficient.  One order of the red "coral" should also be enough, because they are sold by the gross and this piece only uses 12.  As listed in the parts, this necklace uses 15 Double Daisy and 16 Big Daisy antique metal beads.

The "Multi Strand Turquoise & Coral Necklace" is more of an advanced piece that is made up of seven strands.  Each bead section is secured with tiny knots in the cord and the ends are fastened using a bullet-end technique that involves some wire wrapping.  There is no more than one strand of each kind of bead used for this design, so an order of one for each part should give you enough to work with.

Let us know if you need anything else.

Thanks!
