Hello everyone, newbie to forum here.

I want to make some badge id necklaces & I'm wondering which type of attactment looks best for attaching the badge on. I've seen the large "lobster clasp" and a lariat type. Any preferences from those who might be making these?

Also, have you found that your buyers really want the break-away ability?

If anyone would like a visual, we have several example ID holder necklaces in our online gallery.

You might check out #30-360-1.  These are swivels , very solid, for cell phone cords, etc.  They would add a lot of flexibility to the cord part of your necklaces

And to answer the second half of your question: buyers are at the mercy of their employer.  If they work in a larger industrial factory, OSHA requires the breakaway clasp.  To be a most helpful sales person- you should ask your customers what type of environment they work in and suggest the appropriate type of badge holder.

Hope this helps...
