Welcome to our forums, Trinity! Yours is a good question that we're happy to answer.

Silver color finish is sterling silver plate, or at least the color of sterling silver.

White is usually imitation rhodium plate, sometimes nickel plate and is intended to be close to the color of white gold. Our white finishes are the color of most  costume jewelry that is not gold color.

Silver plate matches the color of the sterling silver goods we carry. None of our sterling has a rhodium finish. (That rhodium plate is what makes most fine jewelry store sterling silver jewelry much brighter color than the "ethnic" sterling like Native American turquoise jewelry or Bali silver.)

Most (but not all) of our sterling silver and silver plate goods have a clear anti-tarnish lacquer finish.

Does that clear up the differences?  It is confusing to offer so many types. Even more confusing is the fact that many people use the generic word "silver" when they refer to the color we call "white."

On many of your items you have gold, silver and white listed. What are your definitions of silver and white?
