I am interested in learning more about the wirelace 1 mm.  Waht kind of findings would you use for the clasp?  I am a fused glass artist that makes pendants and would like to know if the wirelace 1mm is strong enough to hold them?

1mm WireLace will probably hold a fused glass pendant..unless it is very big.
As far as a clasp any crimp end (attach lobster or toggle ) glue recommended - the ONLY glue recommended by WireLace is  GS Hypo Cement http://shop.rings-things.com/cart/pc/showsearchresultsCustom.asp?keyword=GS+hypo+cement

The 1mm WireLace will knot, so a clasp like a toggle could be tied on...a drop of glue recommended.

The WireLace Company says this  about the strength of their product:

"Each color varies as there are different amounts of wires in different colors, and aluminum has less strength than others due to the properties of that metal (that is why we won’t do Aluminum in 1mm)  We haven’t done test strengths on 6mm and 12mm. We did do a test of the 20mm so we could see the max and then take an educated guess for the 6mm.

1mm – approx. 3 +/-

2.5mm – approx. 5 +/-

6mm – we generally say it has a range of 8-10 lb. test

12 – we say it generally has a range of 12-15 lb. test

20  -  approx 20+/1 (per actual test)"

Hope this helps
