Hi.  I have been using a 2-part epoxy to glue glass/plastic cabochons and buttons to bracelets and I've had good luck with the process.  My question relates to the safety of using this type of product on earrings - is anyone aware of any health hazards to wearing earrings made with this type of product.  Of note, I am using a brand called Loc-Tite.

Thanks!

We don't sell that brand so we have no direct information about it. I suggest you directly contact the manufacturer and request their MSDS sheet with chemical and safety information.  Their website is http://www.loctite.com/int_henkel/loctite_us/index.cfm

For a number of years R&T manufactured a line of crystal post earrings using our 2 part epoxy. We sold 1000's of them and never had a reported problem. I fel comportable saying that the R&T branded 24hr 2 part epoxey does not have a health hazard when cured and worn on an earring.
