I have been looking at the leather cording but am unable to really see a good picture.   Is this leather cord like greek leather or are the
edges more unfinished?   Has anyone ordered this??

Thanks & have a great day!

Hi Laurie,
Thanks for asking, I'm don't know if any of our customers will jump in to give their opinions so I'll do my best to answer.

This is the  best Indian leather. It is not as good as the best Greek leather but it is also much less expensive than the Greek leather.

There are several Indian producers. Our supplier is the best of them. (Some of the others produce some really awful cording!) The dyes and taming methods meet stricter European standards.

In the morning we will look closely at the edges and compare it to some Greek samples.
Would it help to e-mail you some close up photographs?

Thanks Russ ~ that would be helpful!  I'll be using to make neckcords and bracelets and just wanted to make
sure it would hold up.  Pics would be great and any further description after you take a closer look!  Glad I found
your forum - it's very helpful.

Hi Laurie,

We have close-ups of some styles, that we can upload directly into the online store.
Is it the 1mm and 2mm round leather cord that you'd like to see closer?
We have close-ups in place for most of the (newer) Suede lace.

Yes, let us know which ones you'd like close ups of and we'll install them on the web store so you can click and enlarge them.
I could not find our samples of Greek leather so I can't directly compare them for smoothness of edge, roundness, etc.

You can also click on my or Polly's name and get to a page to send us a private message with your e-mail address or give me your customer account number and I can e-mail you some close up photos of the sizes & colors you are considering.

Closeups now in place for the 1mm and 2mm round leather cord. Just click on the image (in the "more info" page) and you'll get a closeup.
