Outgoing Rings & Things e-mail

If you're frustrated that you haven't received an auto-reply (or a real reply) from us, ... does it help to know that we're frustrated, too?
'>
For some reason, our e-mail server thinks it can't send to many of you, and it has started bouncing them back to us. It took it 72 hours to decide it had a problem though, so we thought were replying nice and promptly ... and have just discovered that many of you haven't been receiving our e-mails.
We have a number of people working on this, and -- as I was typing this note -- our techs found a workaround so new e-mails are successfully going out ... but many e-mails sent since last Friday are still sitting in a queue, confused and thinking they can't get to you.
'> We're trying to help them find their way out as soon as possible.
You may have noticed an excessive amount of downtime with our Web site this year. These problems should be over soon. We have a solution. But it will entail 3 days of our online store being unavailable for orders. As soon as we know when those 3 days will be, we will post a note in the online store to help you prepare for the inconvenience.
We apologize for the downtime and frustration!

Polly, you are so sweet to keep us updated! I just checked my messages and even found a phone message from you. Now THAT's customer service! LOL
I was frustrated with re-registering at the web site because that's been happening with some Yahoo groups and other sites that require registration--very slow, or even NO response, with the new codes.
Todd e-mailed me promptly and helped me re-register, so problem solved.
I guess the internet & e-mail is kinda like the microwave thing--you don't realize how much you'd miss it til it's not working!
thank you again for working so hard to fix stuff,
Luann

For anyone who has been having problems registering for our bulletin board (due to not receiving the auto-response), Todd (aka "the Web guy") has just manually confirmed all recent registrants, so you should be able to log in and use all the features now.
Again, we apologize for the frustrations and communication delays due to Web server problems this year. We have our "problem eradication" steps figured out, but it will still take a few weeks to get all the new things set up.
And, it will require our online store to be closed for 3 days, sometime between October 18th and November 15th. We're wrapping up the details, and will have the schedule posted soon.
Luann, thanks!
I wish I didn't need to post anything like these notes, or call you to tell you we couldn't e-mail you ...
We're really frustrated with the server issues we've had this year, and the amount our current (soon to be ex) Web server company has (not) been able -- or willing -- to help.
