I need help figuring what items I need out of the R&T catalog.  I am making necklaces using suede lace, 1/8" wide.  I need to know what size I need to order so everything will work together for the ends you crimp on, then the rings, and finally the lobster clasps.  I am thinking that I should use split rings because they look stronger?  The cords will be supporting concho's, which are somewhat heavy.  And most of my customers will be using the jewelry to compliment outfits for horseback riding competitions.  Therefore, these need to be STRONG!!!
I did buy some stuff at Michaels just to experiment with a small quantity to start out.  The split rings were to thick to properly fit into the tiny holes at the end of the crimps I bought.  So I am assuming they must come in different thicknesses?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!!  Including stock numbers and/or page numbers in the catalog would be most helpful:)

Split rings are stronger, but also can be irritating at the back of the neck (the tiny "key ring" split grabs long hair).  Your best bet may be the heaviest oval jump rings that can fit with the parts. I'll see what works together and post a list.  What metal color(s) do you want to use?

61-698 1/8" suede lace
41-255 fold-over crimps (I suggest -1 White)
A drop of glue (any type: super glue, epoxy, etc.)
37-147-1  5x7mm oval jump rings (for maximum security, use 2 side-by-side)
Lobster clasps ... there are so many sizes, I'm having a hard time choosing. I think women would prefer 39-349 (15mm), and men would prefer the 39-348 (22mm). I'll go make sure that you can fit 2 of the 5x7mm oval jump rings through the loop of the 15mm. If you can't, then 39-348 is best.
(edited to fix stock # typo)

You can fit two 37-147 jump rings through the loop of the 39-249 15mm lobster clasp just fine, and you can use the same size jump ring for the other half of the clasp too.
