I have a question about the item Jump Ring, Round, 3mm (Raw Brass) #37-101-0.

2.3 + 0.56 + 0.56 = 3.42
3 - 0.56 - 0.56 = 1.88

So! What size is this ring really?

If it really does have an inner of 2.3 and a thickness of about what is says I will probably buy lots, but it the inner is really 1.88mm its nearly useless to me.

OD 3.2mm / ID 2.18-2.25mm / Wire Thickness .021'' ( 24 gauge )

37-113 series of Jump Rings

OD 4.4mm / ID 3.15mm / Wire Thickness .025'' ( 22 gauge )

37-136 series of Jump Rings

OD 5.6mm / ID 3.65mm / Wire Thickness .032'' ( 20 gauge )

37-145 series of Jump Rings

OD 6.6mm / ID 4.5mm / Wire Thickness .036'' ( 19 gauge )

Excellent! Thank you for the corrected info, I can now decide which sizes are useful to me. Btw, After going through the brass rings, I went to gun metal and saw the same sort of problems. You guys should check the stated sizes on all of your jump rings to make sure they are correct, or at least the stated numbers are self consistent.

Looking again to decide on the rings I had to check the math again...

37-101 series of Jump Rings

OD 3.2mm / ID 2.18-2.25mm / Wire Thickness .021'' ( 24 gauge )

37-113 series of Jump Rings

OD 4.4mm / ID 3.15mm / Wire Thickness .025'' ( 22 gauge )

37-136 series of Jump Rings

OD 5.6mm / ID 3.65mm / Wire Thickness .032'' ( 20 gauge )

37-145 series of Jump Rings

OD 6.6mm / ID 4.5mm / Wire Thickness .036'' ( 19 gauge )

.021" is actually  between 23 and 24 gauge. If I take that as accurate though, that converts to 0.5334mm.
3.2mm - (0.5334*2) = 2.1332 which is below the range "ID 2.18-2.25mm".
.020" or .508mm is 24 gauge and that puts the ID right at 2.18mm

.032" = .81mm
.81mm * 2 = 1.62mm + 3.65mm = 5.27mm not 5.6mm
.036" = .91mm
.91mm * 2 = 1.82 + 4.5 = 6.32mm not 6.6mm
They are better, but still off enough to make a difference.

"OD 4.4mm / ID 3.15mm / Wire Thickness .025'' ( 22 gauge )" is the only one here that works out correctly.

I'm sorry to pick on you guys like this, but when you volunteer specific information for public viewing, you should check your arithmetic. I was glad to see corrections but going back over them as I said I would, you can see they don't all add up. Also, why mix inches and millimeters??

When your original question was posted I did not use a mathematical formula to provide the information you requested.
I personally measured the stock items you inquired about with a digital caliper.
The information provided is an accurate representation of the goods we currently have on hand.
