I've started accidentally marring my wire while using my rosary pliers.  Is there another type of plier I can use that will allow me to make round loops without leaving marks on the wire?  Cheesy

You could try nylon jaw pliers like these http://shop.rings-things.com/cart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=17711&idcategory=0

or dipping the tips of pliers http://shop.rings-things.com/cart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=17807&idcategory=0

or even wrapping the tips in masking tape.

I noticed that I mar the loops, not when I'm creating the loop, but when I open/close it to attach it to another item.
So now I use 2 pairs of pliers. I still use my round-nose pliers to make my loops. Then I switch to non-serrated flat-nose pliers to open and close my loop. I'm using a pair of bent chain-nose pliers, but you could use any flat, non-serrated pliers.
