Hey, I just recently found my way to this site while doing some research on a project of mine. (see link) I'm a high school student and my school offers a jewelry class. I've become very good friends with the teacher and am currently in my second semester of the class. The first half everyone in the class was required to make a simple silver band ring. A design, cut from another sheet of silver, was soldered on top and the background behind it was coated with sulfur. Pretty simple stuff.

Now the ideas shift to me to be creative. Hopefully I'll stick around this forum to pick up a few tricks along the way providing what help I can.

Welcome!

And if you end up doing more silver smithing or other things where you need to antique your designs, check out the new Liver of Sulphur XL Gel -- it's even easier to use (and the contents of the container last longer than the traditional format).
