Hi everyone,

I have wandered over from the Beadstyle forums.  It's been so quiet over there I started looking for a new forum to socialize in.  I was having a nice discussin with Russ over there about African beads and Trade Beads.  I was asking people where I could find more to purchase.  Russ mentioned that R&T's had a good selection and boy, was he correct.  When I came to look I noticed this forum and decided to check it out.  I have to say I am impressed.
My name is Laura and I love to do various styles of beading.  I also work with PC and PMC.  I have a shop on etsy if you want to look at any of my work.  It's www.laurazoulekdesigns.etsy.com
Well, it's so nice to meet all of you and I look forward to spending more time in this forum.

Hi Laura,

Welcome to our forums!!!!!  It's nice to see you over here.
Forums are a lot slower than they were before Facebook,  Twitter and other modern social media took so much of people's time.

I think the forums will come back, though.  I enjoyed Facebook and then Twitter.  But I found my interest waning and post less often now.  I still check forums daily, looking for ways to contribute and to get deeper information on issues I care about.

Although, I have to admit, it was fun that one week when I Tweeted, "Just discovered that kitty litter has an expiration date--who knew??"   laugh
