Hello

I am new to the forum and a complete beginner.

I would like to learn beading on a loom, I have not yet started as i want to gather Information as to what to buy to start me off, I have bought a small inexpensive loom, I got this to see how i get on and then hopefully, will get a bigger one.

I have looked on the internet at many sites, and it is confusing, would welcome any help please.

Many Thanks
Junie

- Hi Junie, and welcome to the Rings & Things discussion forum.

I was interested in this question of yours, so I floated it to some online friends.

@Chainmailler (Vintz) on Twitter suggested:

"All she needs is the twine and the seed beads, she already has the loom! @ http://www.beadweaving.com...Oh and the needles! Very important, don't forget the needles! =) "

And @guppylovesshark (Jenny) shared some alternative approaches:

"I like this tute: http://bit.ly/L97Sx ... And here is a fab clip on Instructables: http://bit.ly/45WDw9"

Hope this helps you!

Another resource is the book "American Indian Beadwook", which includes instructions for working with some types of looms, and also includes projects and good tips about when and where to knot.

For more info about the book, search for it on Amazon ... you can see some of the interior pages there!!
