I just read your post. This is the first time I have been on this forum. I have a pattern that I made for the pins that you are wanting. I used to made a lot of them. What a great forum!  Hope someone can help me out.  We are a square dance apparel shop. We sell some glitsy T-shirts.  I've seen those 'pins' that women use to gather up the sleeves of these shirts, but can't find them.  I'm told they're easy to make.  Does anyone know what I'm talking about and know where I can find them?
