Just finished drawing the tutorial for a Beaded 3D mini cake charm, I used seed beads, adopting the Right Angle Weave technique. You can always differ the size of the beaded cake by changing the bead size, you can even use crystal for bigger beaded crystal cakes. Great as earrings, pendant, phone charm, bag charm and more!

See the tutorial at: http://beadjewelrymaking.com/2011/project/august.html

See all the beaded cakes I made at: http://www.beadjewelrymaking.com/2011/beaded_cake.html

Happy Beading!

the tutorial looks very helpful, and the cakes are lovely. Do you have any experience in creating a watch band with beads? I'm new to the thing and was asked to do that...

Thank you in advance

Thanks, glad you liked it!
You can use Right Angle Weave or Peyote Stitch beading to create watch bands, I used this beading method to make belts! See them at: http://www.beadjewelrymaking.com/beaded_belt.html and http://www.beadjewelrymaking.com/beaded_belts.html
