Baking Oven

I asked prior about baking polymer clay and indicated that I get this bad smell from my toaster oven.
I was informed that I could be burning my clay and that I should probably buy a good quality convection oven and thermometer.
I have been looking at the ovens and found one online for $59.99 through JoAnn Fabrics. It is by Amaco. I also found one through Shopko by Rival for $49.99. Both have timers.
Does anyone have either of these and if so, which would you recommend?
I am also wondering if I bake my clay too long? What is the normal amount of time to bake your clay?
Thanks

I would recommend the one by Amaco. Amaco is one of the major polymer clay companies, so that oven should work well with polymer clay.

I think almost any convection oven is going to be better than almost any toaster oven. I bought mine used from a second-hand furniture store years ago and it's still doing great. Test your polymer baking temperature with your new high-quality oven thermometer, and mark it on your dial. It's better to have the temp slightly hotter rather than slightly cooler, and it's better to bake a little longer than not quite enough.
