hang large vertical hole pendants

I have ceramic owl pendants with large vertical holes. I have been using eyepins with small beads to secure the eyepin and cutting and looping the wire on the second end but need a way to keep the pendant from moving around on the finished necklace away from the front design of the owl on the pendant. Is there some kind of thick glue I can insert into the large diameter hole to keep the eyepin from moving around? Any other ideas how to deal with this problem?

Hi, I'm trying to visualize your owl and your troubles, but I'm not sure if I'm seeing it right. If you can post a picture, that would be great.
If not, here is my suggestion:
Use a product like
http://shop.rings-things.com/cart/pc/showsearchresults.asp?idcategory=0&priceFrom=0&priceUntil=999999999&sku=&IDBrand=0&keyWord=bead+bar&exact=1&customfield1=0&SearchValues1=0&customfield=0&SearchValues=0&resultCnt=50&order=2&Submit.x=35&Submit.y=12&Submit=Search+
, which is thicker. It will take up more of the space in the hole, and if you add beads or bead caps to fill up the available space, it will remain fairly immobile. You could also add some glue to this to make sure it stays the same way. A superglue might even work.
