Hi,
What a wonderful website and forum. I am new as of today and have been reading many of the posts and information on the website. I can't wait to share this site with my stepmom (she designs and makes jewelry). She'll love it.

Now...on to my question. I've been trying to find something called a dragon jasper- but haven't seen it listed on any reputable gemstone sites. A friend of mine had one, but the only place I see them is on Ebay (which who knows what your really getting there). It's a green stone with earthy red lines through it. If anyone has any insight, please let me know. Thanks!  smile

Hi wendylou, welcome to the forum!

Good question to ask -- I wonder if this could be dragon's blood jasper, like this?

This has been pretty popular.  We've stocked it at our bead shows; read a little at this blog post...

We have some in our showroom. (Not in online catalog.) I'll grab some quickly & get some photographed!

Okay, here's a photo (thanks to Val) of a bunch of dragon's blood jasper beads that we have in our showroom.

It's also on the road at our bead shows, so there's more than one way to get hold of some!

These look wonderful with copper - I have a strand I got at the Road Show and have made a pair of earrings, necklace and bracelet still to be made...

Hey, Dave, are we gonna tell wendylou and GemsMins how they can get some of our Dragon's blood Jasper?   grinning

Aside from visiting one of our trunk shows, that is?

Easiest way is to call us on a weekday between 8 am and 5pm Pacific time, (maybe even talk with Dave if he's on the phones) and select some examples from the picture Dave posted and we'll look in the showroom stock to tell you the sizes and prices.

Or, we can e-mail you the full size picture and you can pick from them.
