www.bead-patterns.com (a wonderful site, if you haven't checked it out, do so) hosts contests. I just submitted entries for it and would greatly appreciate your votes.

I have several entries, those of you who have seen my profile will recognize my model in one of the entries. http://contest.bead-patterns.com/

Evening Bag

Tell your friends, tell your acquaintances.... The ones I would like most to win are the evening bag and/or the bookmark.

Most of the non-cylinder beads used on these entries I got at the Newark trunk show. Some of the cylinder beads I ordered last year for my butterfly cross stitch project.

Hi Atalanta,

I think the crystal accents on the beaded panels of your evening bag are a nice touch.

The beaded panel contest is an interesting idea.

Is item #29 (Salome Shows Sweet Peas) yours too?

How many seconds before the beads want sailing?  ... I think my digital camera's delay is too long ... I'm not sure I could get a picture of either of my cats wearing beads in the 1.5 or  seconds that I have before my darn camera actually takes its pictures.

If we had a bookmark contest, I wonder what types of entries we'd get....

Thank you for the compliments. '<img'> I thought some of the "finishings" went overboard in fringe and stuff, I wanted to be a little simpler.

'<img'> Yes, indeed Salome Shows Sweet Peas is mine, as you did indeed recognize my talented model (Russ has commented on her before). She is usually very patient, I guess the panel was a bit more "obtrusive" than the gold beads she's wearing in my Avator photo. I think I had to take that picture 5 times to get that one.

Also, numbers 28 and 27 on that page are mine as well (page two if you are looking at all the contest entries).

Hmmm. A bookmark contest.... and I just got a bunch from the Trunk Show....  '<img'>

':yay:' My evening bag placed (scroll to the bottom). I must admit, I was a bit intimidated when I saw the Nasturtium Garden Necklace '<img'>
