Hi Tim.
The answer to this can vary a lot, depending on the size and complexity of what you are making.
Recently I started a day with 50 grams of clay, made the centerpiece for a bracelet, made 3 connector pieces, and about 4 various size/shape charms from 15-30mm, most of them relatively flat. I still had 10-15 grams of clay left at the end.
There may be some more specific data in the art clay discussion portion of the forum, but if you have an idea in mind, and you can weigh a similar size item in silver, you can at least get a ballpark idea.
I hope this helps until our Metalman can chime in.
(Let me know that you've read this, and I'll move it into the artclay discussion section.)

Hi, I am new to metal clay I have not started just researching. It seems quite expensive and I was wondering when they talk about 25g of art clay and 50g art clay, how many pieces of jewellery can you make with
'> it. Thanks

Tim, I can make about 4 small pendant/charm forms [about the size of a dime to a nickel] out of a 20gm package.
Might get 5, not much more then that.
So - I would say 5 gms to a piece. If you are planning some production work - I would do a prototype and then weigh and try to slim down the weight.
Send that next question
