I'd appreciate any advice regarding which bail would be the best to use for a coin.  I have recently purchased a commemorative coin for a friend and have had a hole drilled at the top, I am now stuck as to what kind of bail would be the best to use to turn this coin into a pendant and attach to a chain?  Thanks.

Hi craftee,

We stock a few 100 styles of bails, so it's tough to pick just one!

What size is the hole (in mm or wire gauge), and how far down from the top of the coin? Also, what type of metal or plating do you prefer?

For future reference (or other readers), specialty coin bezels with bails are available for standard sizes of coins.  We don't stock them, but a google search for "coin bezel" will return quite a few results.  The advantage is that you don't have to drill a hole in the coin. But... they don't fit all coins, just certain standard sizes.
