I really want to add some gold accents to my silver, but am unsure which product will work best.

I tend to make items that are solid silver, but I do occasionally add my dichroic cabs and a CZ's or 2 into my pieces. Was hoping one of the mentioned products (Accent Gold, Aura 22 or ACS Gold Paste?) would be more user friendly than Keum Boo, which I've not had much luck with.

Any tips or input would be greatly appreciated.  '<img'>

You know - this is one of those areas I dislike - mainly because the material is so expensive.
I have worked with all 3, 4 if you add in Keum Boo.

My main response is that you need to get all 3 and experimentn with them - see which works best with your studio technique. That said - I think my best results are with the ACS gold paste.

Also - I know the Keum Boo is a difficult technique but If you really want the gold [Go for the Gold!] keep experimenting and learning and get that technique to work for you.  Some of the traditional metalsmithing tech combined with the metal clay techniques can result in advanced and hybrid tech the you have personalized for your self - Get it good and then come teach the rest of us how to do it.

Thanks Metalman '<img'>

I really do like the idea of Keum Boo, so I maybe I'll just stick with that technique since I've already invested in the tools and hotplate to do it.

On another note- Have you watched the dvd set ACS Moulds and Beyond ? Is it really worth the cost?
