A gross is 144 pieces, or 72 pairs. A gross is 12 dozen and for some ancient reason, is a common measure for jewelry findings and beads. That makes these handy keepers abut 3 1/2 cents a pair.

Wire keepers are sold by the gross. example 1-9 gross = Ū.50/gross. Approximately how many pieces are in 1 gross. Thank you.
