Hi,
Can anyone recommend a tool to use when doing wire wraps to hold the loop with while you wrap the wire tale that will not mar the loop? I've tried good quality chain nose and round nose pliers to hold the loop and almost always end up with scratched and indented loops. I'm using sterling silver wire and head pins for wrapping.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Have you tried dipping your plier tips in tool magic? You can also try wrapping them in masking tape (doesn't last very long), or you can invest in nylon jaw tools.
