Hi, Eileen,

This is something I'd never heard of before, but a search that I ran on www.google.com for "sweater clips" (in parentheses) turned up a handful of sites that sell finished sweater clips.  You could contact one of them and ask nicely where they get the clip component.  

We're still researching this question, and we'll let you know if something more turns up.

I would love to see a picture. I may have found a source for
small quantities after months of looking. Someone suggested Eastern Findings. Until I get my designs together I am reluctant to buy grosses. but if successful will need them in the near future. Price too matters. As sometimes the gross price is so much cheaper it is worth stocking up.  Thanks...

I am looking for the metal clips that were used in the 1950's sweater clips. I do not need the chain as I am making my own. They are basically a metal clothespin-like clip. I would like a small size but could use large too.  Thanks!

Yes, we do have access to sweater clips, in both White and Yellow plate.  
There is a 2 GR (288 piece) minimum, per color, to special order these.  (No returns on special order items.)

I will see if I can track down an illustration to post here.

Price will depend on quantity ... how many would you be interested in?
