Our Sterling lobster clasps are good quality (see page 35 for prices and sizes).

Also, we can special order brass lobster clasps for you and have them plated to your specifications.  The brass lobster clasps are much tougher than cast lobster clasps (more expensive, too).  
There is a 5 GR minimum (per plating color) for the brass lobsters.

I am looking for high quality lobster clasps in nickle, Sterling and copper. I have some of the plated white metal clasps but they are not strong enough for my needs. Do you know of a source of any that are not made of white metal?

can you give me an idea of the pricing for Nickle and copper plate clasps in 6x10MM, 7x12mm and 9x14mm sizes? Are the heart lobster claps white metal as well?

:shocked:  This took much longer than expected, but here's some information for you.

Brass Lobster RAW prices:
     --Small ล.00 per gross 5 Gross Min (about the size of 39-243)
     --Large ว.60 per gross "    "       "    (about the size of 39-249)

We have good pictures we can email, mail, or fax to you if you need to see them.

Plating is then extra:
     --1lb Nickel Plate         Ű.00 p/Pound
     --1lb Hamilton Plate     ภ.00 p/Pound
     --1lb Sterling Plate       ฝ.00 p/Pound

Hamilton Gold is the better quality yellow gold finish we use. Comparable to the color of 14 to 18Kt gold. Sorry we left the word "gold" out.  We get used to talking about stuff in shorthand sometimes.

All the lobster clasps we know about are made from 2 pieces enclosing the moving works. The soft "pot metal" are easier and cheaper to make but do not hold up nearly as well as the harder brass.

 -- about 480  7x12mm #39-243's per pound, and
 -- about 310  9x14mm #39-249's per pound.
