Large Hole Gemstone Beads

I make equine healing and rhythm beads for reiki and other crystal healing uses and am having a difficult time finding large hole (2mm+) gemstone beads.
My pieces are created with deerskin thong and I do not want to resort to wire. It just doesn't feel "right" and it has to be able to break under pressure.
I've been reaming out some beads with my Dremel, but that takes forever -- especially with beads that have a high quartz content -- and can be really messy.
Most places do not list hole sizes -- grrr! R&T does, which is why I've been ordering like mad from here. The stones I *really* need, however, I can't find
'>
I'm looking for 6-8mm round amethyst, citrine, natural quartz of all kinds (except rose), jet, fluorite, black obsidian, and unakite. I'm also looking for other "popular" gemstones, but those I've listed are on my immediate "gotta have" list.
Anyone? Help?
Roan
PS
Here is a photo of a set of beads I made for my Classical Dressage trainer, who is Reiki III. They're carnelian, rose quartz and onyx:

Roan,
this request sounds like a possible candidate for a special order. I have forwarded the information to our gemstone buyer to look into.

Wow. I keep getting more and more impressed with Rings & Things.
Special order works for me and I hope your buyer can swing it. I just hope that the cost/quantities are not too dear. The bead sets are not something I can mass produce nor turn-around quickly, so my costs are already high.

Hi Roan,
It looks like you're already using the
large-hole gemstone beads
that we currently stock, but I'm linking them for other readers in case they arrive at this posting looking for some.
For the other stones you're looking for, I believe we can get as few as 10 strands of a given size/shape/stone. For a bit more info on special orders in general, here is a link to our
special order research form
. It wouldn't hurt to fill it out, just so that we have an easy way to contact you with more info.
(edited Dec 17 to fix bad link)

Polly,
The link you provided for info on special orders didn't give me any information, it just gave me a page with product and information search input fields.
Another link?
