I'm a brand new member to the forum but have been a fan of Rings & Things for over a year. I'm just starting my jewelry business and am in need of a canopy. Since I live in Montana I'd like one with walls just in case of bad weather. Does anyone have a favorite type or brand? Of course I'd like to save money, but I don't want to regret buying a cheap one.
Thanks a bunch,
Chickadee

We've recently had to implement a manual "ok" of all new forum registrants.  (To prevent a deluge of spam postings of the icky kind.)  I apologize that it has caused a 24-hour delay in new registrants being able to post their first message!

If you have a great craft show canopy / booth success -- or disaster -- to post, along with brand-name or how your created your canopy, please bear with our new, slow registration and come back a (week)day after registering, and post your story.

Chick -
I bought my canopy a few years ago at Sam's Club (I don't know if they are in Montana, or near you).  For $200, I got a relatively nice 10x10 white canopy with 4 sides.  So far it's lasted me 3 years of at least 10 shows a year (last year I did 30 shows).  It's just starting to wear, has a few small tears here & there but nothing serious.  Was thinking of replacing it because I really need a 10x20 now, but I hear you need 2-4 people to put that size up and I usually have just me! LOL
There's several sites on the web but they are expensive.   Sam's/ Costco may be your best bet, even if they have to mail-order it to you.  Walmart has a cute little pup-size (8x10 canopy), but it only has 1 side that goes all the way around the tent (ie, you can't roll it up/down in case of weather) for about $70.
Good luck!

Always try something new (even if it never sells!)
