Thanks for posting the new resource, gerbil.

For other bead-related organizations in Canada, the USA and the UK, check out our updated guilds list at
http://www.rings-things.com/BEAD-SOC.HTM .

We now have one of the most current and comprehensive lists of bead societies, polymer clay guilds and art guilds on the Web or in print.  In the last few months, we've double-checked every e-mail, snail-mail and Web address in our list, and added many new jewelry-related organizations.

Please post a note here, if you know of any other jewelry-making or related organizations we can add.
Or, follow the contact information at this page:
http://www.rings-things.com/BEAD-SOC.HTM
to update information on your organization.

Hi everyone!
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned here before ( it has at Bead&Button ) but I'll give it plug anyway!

A new group, through UK & Ireland Yahoo, called 'UK Wire and Bead Club',  has been created so that people from the UK can have a main place where we can share bits of local and national information, find out about UK suppliers, display pictures of pieces of work or just generally have a chat!

There are currently about 29 members and it's growing week by week. Personally I think it's really valuable and it welcomes new members with open arms!:icon_37:

If anyone is interested, visit it by using the following steps:
  - on the UK yahoo homepage click on groups (found in the top portion of the page)
  - then click on crafts under the heading 'hobbies and crafts'
  - go to jewellery making and then click on jewellery making groups. Currently at the top of the list is 'UKwireandbeadclub'- so click the link, join the group and I'll see you there!

Thanks and kind regards to all
