Ozzie,

Personally, I haven't seen miracle bead grape clusters on wine charms, but here is a website address with directions for some grape cluster earrings:

http://www.eebeads.com/Webzine/99may/5_56_99.htm

The grapes are made using 4mm glass beads, but miracle beads would work as well.

Instead of attaching the grape clusters to an earwire, just attach them to a jump ring and slip them on to the wine ring.

We stock most of the materials you would need for this project...jump rings, miracle beads, colored wire, glass leaves (although ours are different).

Just look at our on-line catalog.

I hope this helps and good luck.

Rings and Things now offers a new "project sheet" on how to make the grape clusters.

See it on our website at:

Hi

Does anyone know what book or books show you how to make grape clusters out of Japanese Miracle Beads?  I've seen these done for wine charms.

Thank you

Ozzie,

I have not seen any projects, but not too long ago I looked closely at a grape cluster earring.

The center was approximately 3/4" of cable chain, like our #40-220 Medium Soldered Cable. (page 26)

There were a few (3?) 6mm beads at the top, and then the rest was filled in with 4mm beads.
Each bead was on a head pin, with a loop which was then attached to a small jump ring, which was then hooked into the chain.  This might sound like too many loops, but without the extra jump ring in between, it does't have the right movement.

The bottom 4 or so beads did not have the jump ring - their head pins were attached directly to the chain.  This tapers the bottom of the grape cluster.

We have a mini "how to make nice head & eye pins loops" in the Projects section of our website.
