Hi Pat!

The picture scan is a bit dark, but from what I can see, it looks similar to the head of a safety pin; that's the best I can make out. About what size is the clasp? And would you have one that you could send us? If I have it in my hand, it would be easier to research sources.

Where did you see the picture? Was there a size specification with it?

Thanks Pat! I've printed off the picture and passed along to the buyer for our clasps. I'll let you know what we discover!

Okay; I talked with Karin & Russ and neither have seen a clasp like it, though common consensus is that it's a cross between a safety pin and a lanyard hook. It could be made by the company that manufactures the necklace,  or another small company like it. There are so many spins off of the traditional lobster clasp that it could come from almost anywhere. I'm sorry I can't be more help on this one. Have you tried calling Sundance to see if they'd let you know where the clasp comes from, or at least what it's called?

I am trying desperately to find a rather unusual lobster clasp.  If anyone has seen anything like this, I would greatly appreciate learning where it might be purchased.  Click on the link to see this, as I know I could never describe it!

Many thanks.

Thanks for the response.  This is just something that I saw online.  I have never actually seen one "in person."  So I can't help with an example.

OK.  It's the Sundance catalog.  Try this link:

If that doesn't work, go to JEWELRY, NECKLACES, page 6, the tiered pearl necklace.  I hope I got that right!

Great!  Anything positive, I would love to hear.

I really do appreciate your interest.
