They are about 5x17mm, and about 3mm thick.

Thanks for asking!  Somehow we've never gotten sizes of those in the catalog.  We'll fix that next time.

Yes, those have a hole too.

When strung on the side of the necklace, the bird will be sitting normally (head & tail both pointed outwards) ... about the same way as the #29-230 picture looks.  (so if strung at the center of the necklace it will be pointing at the sky.)
